What is Camp Rock Enon?

Camp Rock Enon is located on 860 acres of rugged beauty in the mountains of Gore, Virginia. It is the site of the Shenandoah Area Council's Boy Scout Summer Camp, Cub Scout Resident Camp, and weekend camps. Each camp offers a variety of activities, emphasizing on fun, fellowship, and the development of the young people participating. Camp Rock Enon is utilized by numerous Packs and Troops year round.

What is the Shenandoah Area Council?

 The Shenandoah Area Council of Boy Scouts of America includes 3 counties in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and 6 counties in the Northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The council headquarters is in Winchester, Virginia. The council has 10 fulltime, year-round employees, consisting of 5 professional scouters, 4 office staff and 1 camp ranger. Nearly 2000 volunteers provide quality scouting experiences for over 7,000 youth and families every year. Over 100 local organizations charter about 185 Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, and Venturing crews.
